Meet Jim

blogsite-pix1I have been drawn to exploring Consciousness and Spirituality since I was a teenager, spending years reading, searching and experiencing teachings to help me become a more conscious and spiritual human being.

The Body Transcendent is a process I began to develop for my own healing when I was going through a divorce.  It was then that I was introduced to “Focusing” – a process that got me to pay attention to unpleasant body sensations to discover the underlying beliefs that perpetuated my emotional immaturity.

Prior to learning this technique, I barely remembered anything earlier than when I was five.  As a result of using this procedure, and adapting it over the years into The Body Transcendent process, I now remember the significant moments in my life, including pre-conception, being in the womb and my birth, as well as each developmental “trauma” I went through.

The process actually works with body physiology to change “cellular memories”.  Today, although I remember the traumatizing experiences, they no longer “hold a charge”.  I am free of the limiting emotions, beliefs and decisions I unconsciously created to cope with the original distress.

I began to share The Body Transcendent methods in private sessions and workshops in conjunction with my work as a licensed massage therapist.  In addition, I taught the process at Health-Choices Institute & Holistic Massage School in Hillsborough, NJ where I was an Instructor, Staff member, and Director of Somatic Studies for sixteen years.  I helped design the curriculum based on Embodiment principles as applied to Holistic Massage, along with the study of Anatomy and Physiology, Swedish Massage, “Mindful Massage,” Joint Mobilizations, Body Mechanics, and Neuromuscular Therapy.

The Body Transcendent is one of many avenues of Awakening taking place on the planet at this time.  It has helped me to awaken to who I am as a Divine Being.  I know I am here to learn how to embody my own Divinity, and guide others to do the same, instead of seeking enlightenment “out there”.

“Our remedies oft in ourselves do lie.  Which we ascribe to heaven.”
